Hairstyling and Aesthetics at Twin Lakes

            Twin Lakes Secondary School offers single and dual credit cosmetology courses to grade 10, 11, and 12 students. In this course, students will explore hair styling and aesthetics freely, with an opportunity to focus on the areas that interest them the most.

            Students will work in a salon environment where they will learn important skills including professionalism, responsibility, initiative, and time management. In such an environment, students become part of a salon community within their own school. For students who plan on pursuing a career in cosmetology this is beneficial as it aids in the transition from school to workplace.

            Twin Lakes is proud to offer students the opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience in a salon environment, and encourages any student interested to speak to Ms. MacDonald in room 117, or to their guidance counsellor for more information.
